Weekly Tip: Create linked Waiting For items with fewer clicks (Part 1)

Remember this tip about easily creating Waiting For items with a single click? In the newly-released version 1.88 of eProductivity, this Waiting For feature has been expanded upon in two cool ways.

This week, we're going to explore the first feature: automatically adding the name of the person who owes you the Waiting For item.
Feature 1. Automatically add a name to the subject line of your Waiting For item
As you'll recall, the newest versions of eProductivity contain a checkbox for creating linked Waiting For actions with just a single click. The checkbox looks like this:

The new Waiting For checkbox

When you check that box and click "Send", eProductivity goes off to create your new linked Waiting For item. With the new Feature 1, you can automatically add the name to your Waiting For's subject line. The name is parsed from the recipient's email address, and shows up like this:

It's that simple!

How to enable the new Waiting For feature
To set this up, go to the eProductivity Preferences (click the big eProductivity button inside the software). Inside the Preferences, access the Projects & Actions > Actions tab, like this:

Version 1.88 - new Waiting For feature

Here you can see the new Waiting For feature and turn it on or off. When you've made your selection, remember to save and close the Preferences, and then exit and re-open your Notes mail file for the change to take effect.

Until Next Week...
So now you know a time-saving shortcut when creating new Waiting For actions. Next week, we'll show you how to take it to the next level! Just remember, you need eProductivity version 1.88 or higher to get the new features.
