Your browser may automatically save the template to your computer.
If it doesn't, click 'Save' to save the template to your Lotus\Notes\DATA folder, as shown below.
If you need assistance locating your Notes\Data folder, see here.

Notes:
- You must save this file in the Lotus\Notes Data folder on your local computer or the upgrade will not work! (It won’t hurt anything, it just won’t work.)
- If you already have an eProductivity template in your Notes\Data folder you will be prompted to overwrite the file. Do this in order to keep the most recent template.
Step 2. Refresh the design of eProductivity Stand-alone with the new Template
Go to the Notes Workspace and close any open applications. Then, select the eProductivity Stand-alone application on the Lotus Notes workspavce and right-click on it to display the list of menu options. Select "Application", then “Refresh Design…” as shown in the screen shot below:

Notes:
- In Lotus Notes version 6.x or 7.x substitute “Database” for “Application” in the example above.
- If you are using Lotus Notes 8.x and the “Refresh Design…”option is not visible, see here
When prompted to refresh the design of eProductivity stand-alone, click OK to continue…

When you see the confirmation screen, click OK to refresh eProductivity Stand-alone…

The Lotus Notes Status bar will show the progress. Wait for the design refresh process to complete before continuing to the final step.

Step 3. Open eProductivity Stand-alone and complete the setup wizard
You are almost done. When you open eProductivity Stand-alone, the setup wizard will show that a software update has been applied. Follow the prompts to accept the license and complete the setup.

When the setup wizard has completed, exit and restart Lotus Notes as instructed.

Congratulations! You have upgraded your application with the latest eProductivity template.
If you encounter problems upgrading eProductivity Stand-alone:
Here are the two most common issues users encounter when upgrading eProductivity Stand-alone:
“Design refresh failed”
“cannot locate design template” error appears on the Lotus Notes Status bar during the design refresh process:

Or, you see an error dialog like this:

Cause:
Lotus Notes cannot find the template in the Lotus\Notes\Data folder on your computer.
Solution:
Download the template again (see step 1.) and make sure to put the saved file in the Lotus\Notes\Data directory. TIP: You can easily locate your Lotus\Notes\Data folder by searching for the file “names.nsf”.
The “Refresh Design” menu option is not visible on the Application Menu
Depending on how your Lotus Notes administrator set up your Lotus Notes 8.x, the “Refresh Design…”option may not be visible to you. The good news is that you can usually enable it by selecting “View” and “Advanced Menus” from the Action Bar, like this:

If, after selecting the option above, the “Refresh Design…” option still does not appear, your Notes Administrator may have disabled it. Contact your Notes Administrator for assistance.
