eProductivity to Release Free Edition, Brings ‘App Store-like’ Model to IBM Lotus Notes®

eProductivity helps improve Lotus Notes users’ productivity with email and tasks.

LOS ANGELES, CA, - eProductivity (www.eproductivity.com) announced today the upcoming launch of the free Essentials Edition.

While including the powerful email and task management features that characterize other eProductivity editions, the free Essentials Edition is engineered to install with just a couple of clicks. This allows end-users to get started quickly and easily as well as helps minimize the need for direct IT involvement in deploying these vital productivity enhancements.

“eProductivity Essentials redefines how end-users engage with Lotus Notes,” said Eric Mack, CEO of ICA, the makers of eProductivity. “End users can get started in a fraction of the time without needing IT involvement. This is the same sort of empowerment offered by other well-known app stores.”

eProductivity Essentials will be available Q1 2011 on the eProductivity website.

People at over 1000 organizations around the world use eProductivity to get more done. In a recent survey, 90.1% of users reported that eProductivity saves them time every day and 72.1% of those people reported daily savings of 30 minutes or more.

In the same survey, 90.5% reported satisfaction with Lotus Notes when eProductivity was used.

“Our goal is to provide solutions that speed installation and simplify use,” said Mack. “eProductivity changes the paradigm because with it, users think radically different about Lotus Notes. It enhances positive energy around the IBM Lotus brand.”
